Herro. My name is Tarina and I am a mermaid in Portland, Oregon. There are really only two things in this world I need to survive: cats and yarn. I was inspired to crochet by my grandmother Evelyn, whom I call Mama Eve. She was raised in the south, married my grandfather, then moved up to Oregon and helped raised 7 kids on a very low budget, and during some very hard times. This wonderful woman is where I get all of my inspiration from. She is a wonderful cook, an artist with a yarn and hook, an amazing mother, and an overall beautiful and strong woman. She is almost 90 years old, and her time is coming. She can no longer walk and cannot crochet as much as she used to, but she has passed down patterns to me and I plan on passing down her legacy. Also cats are fucking great. I have three because I am also a crazy cat lady. There is Caprice, who has the cat equivalent of autism. She is my favorite and the best cat in the world and I will argue this fact to death if I have to and I love her and she is amazing and this is where I express my love so much that I HAVE NO NEED FOR PUNCTUATION OR PROPER WRITING SKILLS OR EVEN NEED TO UN-CAPS THIS BECAUSE SHE IS SO AWESOME YOU HAVE NO IDEA. NO. IDEA. anyways, then there is Tiger. He is the oldest at 5 years. Which is pretty young, but still. He is a bad ass that eradicated the mole population in my neighborhood and likes to kill birds for me because I FUCKING HATE BIRDS. And then Mochi. He is a fat ass motherfucker that is lovable and does nothing. Fucking nothing. NOTHIIIING. He is the spawn of now deceased Luu, and a preggo kitty we rescued and rehomed named Flowers. He is exactly like both of them. And that's how I destroyed everyone's life dreams.
